The documents shown on this website are electronic versions of the hard copy documents which make up the District Plan 1st Alteration, and do not in themselves have any legal status. Hard copies are available from the Council.

From 27 September 2007, all policies within the West Wiltshire District Plan 1st Alteration continue to be 'saved' until further notice, except the following polices set out at http://www.westwiltshire.gov.uk/planning-policy-saved-policies-statement-sep07.pdf, which no longer form part of the development plan.  Those policies that no longer form part of the development plan have their policy text struck through, although their details have been retained on the map for information purposes.

Please note the mapping element within this presentation only functions on a PC. It uses Java technology to provide an exciting range of tools that enable you to quickly retrieve the information you may require from the online maps.
