This is a description of how each of the tools and functions operate
Reset Map Tool
Click on this tool at any time to return to the locator map.
Pan Map Tool
This allows you to move around the map. Click, hold down and drag cursor to move map image and bring the area of interest into the centre of the screen. The map will redraw and centre on your requested area.
Zoom In Tool
This allows you to enlarge the scale of the map. Click on point of interest on map - or click, hold down and drag to select a specific area indicated by the appearance of a red box. Map will redraw at a larger scale.
Zoom Out Tool
This allows you to reduce the scale of the map. Click on point of interest on map - or click, hold down and drag to select a specific area indicated by the appearance of a red box. Map will redraw at a smaller scale.
Key
Click on the Key icon to launch the key and use the scroll bar to view all entries. Click on a text notation to go to the policy or proposal description in the Written Statement.
Choose a Map Type
The default display for the maps is the Proposals Map. Click on the other tabs to view other details. If you click Reset at any time, the map window will return to the Proposals Map*.

Choose an Area by Postcode*
Enter your full postcode name if known, eg. OL16 1JH. The map will redraw centred on your postcode.
If entering a partial postcode, click Go then select from the drop-down list that appears.
Find an Area by Name*
Choose a settlement name from the drop-down list. The map will redraw centred on the settlement.
* Remember which map type you have selected when using the other tools.
