Map Information
This is a description of how each of the tools and functions operate.
			Reset Map Tool
			Click on this tool at any time to return to the locator map.
			Pan Map Tool
			This allows you to move around the map. Click on point of interest on map - or click, hold down and drag to a specific area indicated by the appearance of a red box. Map will re-draw at a larger scale.
			Zoom In Tool
			This allows you to enlarge the scale of the map. Click on point of interest on map - or click, hold down and drag to select a specific area indicated by the appearance of a red box. Map will redraw at a smaller scale.
			Zoom Out Tool
			This allows you to reduce the scale of the map. Click on point of interest on map - or click, hold down and drag to select a specific area indicated by the appearance of a red box. Map will redraw at a smaller scale.
			Key
			Click on the Key icon to launch the key and use the scroll bar to view all entries. Click on a text notation to go to the policy or proposal description in the Core Policy Document or Town & Village Plan.
			Choose a Map Type
			The default display for the maps is the Proposals Map. Click on Inset Maps to view Inset Map detail. You can also choose the following themes: Employment Sites, Housing Sites and Transportation Proposals. If you click Reset at any time, the map window will return to the Proposals Map*.
			Find an Area by Name*
			Click on the drop-down list and choose a settlement name. The map will redraw centred on the settlement.
			Find an Area by Postcode
			Click in the box to launch the postcode selector. Enter your full postcode if known, e.g. KY15 4LP and click 'Go'
			If entering a partial postcode, click Go then choose from the drop-down list below.
			Find A Policy/Proposal*
			Use this tool to view relevant policies/proposals in the Core Policy Document. Click on a point of interest on your chosen map type. A bulleted hypertext listing all of the policies/proposals that apply at your chosen site will appear in the window below the tool.
			Click on any of the displayed policies/proposals in the list. A new window appears showing the relevant description from within the Core Policy Document. You can then navigate around the document for more information as necessary. See Plan Statement Information for further guidance.
